The photo installation process

the Exhibition brochure

Insiders’ Account is an exhibition of photographs produced by students of the Silent Majority Project in Makoko, a neighborhood built on stilts. The work of the students was shown in the community in which they live. The exhibition can only be seen from the water and is open to the public from the 2nd of March 2013. A documentary film of the process and more was also screened during the opening This exhibition may create a platform wherein several other kids could benefit. It will be an opportunity for an interested audience and potential donors to share a first hand experience of life in Makoko, connect with the kids and possibly contribute positively to their welfare and the future of the Silent Majority Project. In that future we will build on the experience in Makoko and develop workshops for and with children in other places and communities.
